Parents,
Next week is the last week of the second quarter, and it’s extraordinarily important that your student finishes strong and does his or her absolute best. It’s important to remind students that academic achievement in middle school will help determine the courses students take in high school. The district’s SPAN system allows you to review your student’s academic achievement in real time, and we’re so glad that so many of our parents have SPAN access and view their student’s grades regularly. We truly appreciate your support!
General Team Information:
There will be no school on Monday, January 18th, due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The following Monday students don’t have school due to a teacher workday. We look forward to seeing your student on Tuesday both weeks!
There are many upcoming high school open house and information sessions. Please review the bottom of this email blast for dates and times for each high school’s open house. Events will include representatives from all curriculum areas, guidance counselors, and administrators. We highly suggest you attend at least one of these events.
The Patriotic Wolves teachers continue to be available every Tuesday after school until 5:00 pm to help students in our core classes. This is a great time for students to receive additional help, work on projects, or study for upcoming assessments in a structured setting. We ask that you make sure your student has a ride home at 5:00 PM.
