Patriotic Wolves Weekly Email Blast: Week of December 7th

Parents,

We’re now back in the swing of things after our Thanksgiving vacation, and it’s so good to see students working hard in our classrooms.  We’re already half way though the second quarter, and have only a few weeks until our long Holiday vacation.  With so many vacation days it can be easy for students to lose sight of their priorities and the importance of continuing to work hard in school.  We ask that you work with us by checking your student’s agenda/planner daily and using SPAN to make sure your student is doing well and completing assignments.  We really do appreciate your support!

General Team Information:
Soon you will receive an email from Ms. Gleeson, our team parent, with information regarding our upcoming winter celebration.  With your financial support and donations of food items we will provide each of our students a celebration lunch and fun activities.  We sincerely appreciate your support!

Next week students will receive progress reports in their classes.  We ask that you take some time to review your student’s academic progress in each of our classes, sign the progress reports, and have your student return them.  If you have a question or concern regarding an assignment or grade, please first discuss the issue with your student, and then email the teacher directly.

In addition to offering assistance each day during CSI time, the Patriotic Wolves teachers are available every Tuesday after school until 5:00 pm to help students in our classes.  Students may stay after school and receive help in each of their core classes.  While we’re excited to offer the additional help, it is essential that you arrange transportation home for your student at 5:00 pm.  The school’s activity bus is NOT running this year, and students will need to arrange transportation home.

Our monthly PTSA newsletter was distributed to students this afternoon. The newsletter provides you with important upcoming events and activities. Remember, you can receive the monthly newsletter and now the weekly principal’s message by email by signing up for our email list.  Send an email to WAKEFIELDMS-NEWS@wcpss.net to be added to the school’s list.
